Will there be an initial assessment of the client's needs?

Yes! Integrity's Nurse Case Manager will visit the client's home to assess their care needs and discuss the services we offer. This initial assessment is free whether the client decides to contract with us or not!

Does the agency subcontract their health care workers or are they employed?

All of Integrity's workers are the agency's employees and they are under direct supervision of the nurse case manager and field supervisor. They are part of a larger team and function together to meet your needs.

Does the agency do background checks on their employees/workers?

Integrity executes background checks on every employee, along with personal and professional reference checks.

Does the agency have workman's compensation insurance on their employees in case they are injured in your home?

Yes! Integrity carries Workman's Compensation Insurance to cover their employees in case of work related injury whenever and where ever they are doing their jobs.

Does the agency have professional and general liability insurance?

Yes! Integrity carries both professional and general liability insurances.

Do the agency workers perform a variety of tasks, both for household care and for health care, so that you can stay with the same agency if your health needs increase over time?

Integrity's Caring and Skilled Employees are trained for and willing to provide a variety of tasks.

Examples of Home Health Aide Services include:

  • Personal care/Bathing/Dressing Assistance
  • Companionship and Respite Care
  • Housekeeping
  • Meal Preparation
  • Shopping and Errands
  • Transportation to Dr. appointments
  • 24 hour care

Examples of Nursing Services include:

  • Private Duty Nursing
  • Foot care
  • Blood Draws
  • Catheter Care
  • Medication Management, etc.

Is there a minimum amount of time that caregivers have to be hired for?

There is a two hour per visit minimum for home health aides. A nurse can be contracted for a minimum of one hour. We can provide up to as much as 24 hours a day, seven days a week of nursing or home health aide services, including holidays.

Is there a nurse on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to talk to you about your concerns?

Yes! Integrity has a Registered Nurse on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to talk to you about your health concerns and questions about your care.

What kind of training do the home health aides have?

Home Health Aides have various certifications and trainings. Some are Certified Nurse Aides. Some have taken Community Mental Health training. Some are trained at Integrity. All of Integrity's employees continued to have mandatory inservice trainings each month. We match the skill levels of the employees with the required skill need of the client.

Are all the health care workers trained in CPR?

Integrity pays for and requires employees to keep up their CPR.

Do you charge for mileage?

If we transport using the clients vehicle, no mileage is charged, however if the nurse or aide uses their own vehicle then the client is charged 0.41/mile.
